Browncoats, unite!

Or at least mark Nov. 11 on your calendars, because there is a Firefly reunion headed your way.

As you know, a 10-year anniversary Firefly reunion panel is happening this Friday at Comic-Con with Nathan Fillion, Joss Whedon, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, showrunner Tim Minear, and writer Jose Molina.

To add to the celebration, Science Channel is shooting a new one-hour special that will chronicle the reunion. Titled Browncoats Unite, the special will include footage from the Comic-Con panel and from a special roundtable with the cast.

Says Debbie Myers, general manager and executive vp of Science:

“Ever since it premiered on Science, fans have asked us to do something special to mark its 10-year anniversary. With this signature celebration, punctuated by Browncoats Unite, we will connect the minds behind this classic franchise with its legions of passionate fans.”
